Secret’s Debut in Japan

The famous K-pop group Secret recently invaded the music scene in Japan.  The group debuted in Japan with a live broadcast.  The debut event was entitled “Welcome To Secret Time”.  Ustream brought the event to the fans.  The debut of the group was successful with more than 10,000 applications of the live event.  There were also 50,000 fans that bought tickets.  The popularity of the K-pop group has reached far and wide.  And this is just the beginning of their successful career outside Korea.

The group’s premium debut was shown through a live broadcast last July 6.  They will be promoting the new single “Starlight, Moonlight” in Korea.

Hyuna releases 1st Mini Album

Hyuna is in cloud nine with her successful career.  She recently released a music video entitled “Bubble Pop” and now she’s busy with the release of a mini album with the same title.  Her first solo single “Change” was also successful.  The mini-album will also feature Junhyung for the ballad song “A Bitter Day”.  Jiyoon also joins her for the single “Downtown”.  Dok2 joins her for the single “Just Follow”.

T-ara for Tony Moly

Tony Moly recently announced that T-ara will be their new model brand.  Tony Moly is a cosmetic brand that is popular among teens and ladies.  The cosmetic brand announced last July 7 that T-ara will be the new face of the brand.  Tony Moly released a statement saying, “T-ara was chosen because of their sophisticated, yet urban image. It was found that T-ara’s personalities also fit Tony Moly’s image as well. For this occasion, T-ara will also be modeling for the brand in not only Korea, but China, Japan, and other Asian countries as well.”

The girls will start their modeling career for the cosmetic brand this coming August.
