Korean Fashion Icons: Sunny Hill

Sunny Hill has created a ruckus in the Korean music scene.  The group is famous for being one-of-a-kind and weird concepts and fashion style.  Their concept for their two singles and videos are definitely original.  The group gained popularity when they appeared for Narsha and Brown Eyed Girls performances.  The group had been around way back 2007 and consists of 2 females and one male.

The only male in the group is Kim Janghyun which started his career by participating in Battle Shinwa.  He got the 6th spot for the group but didn’t pushed forward because of his studies.  The contest has created many K-Pop groups including: Taegoon, Gain from Brown Eyed Girls and more.

Kim then became involved with the Sunny Hill project.  The group is managed by Loen Entertainment.  Kim is the leader, vocalist and rapper of the group.  Their first single was “Love Letter” which was released on September 2007.  The single had 4 songs and it had a summery vibe.  They were not able to promote the single.

The group was silent throught 2007 and 2008 with rare performances.  But people started to acknowledge them as the news broke out about their single “Love is All I Know”.  They were able to perform the song with TV appearance.  The group is currently busy with their career.  Although they were unknowns before they strive hard to make a name for themselves.  And now they are at the top because of their determination.

The members of the group are: Kota, Seungah, Jubee, Misung and Janghyun.  In a recent performance the group had two comeback appearance on stage.  Kota wore leather outfit with a bad ass attitude.  Misung wore a stylish and funky outfit.  Seungah wore a frilly skirt and pair it with leggings and Jubee wore a dress.  Janghyun rarely shows up on stage.
