8 Korean Fashion Designer Icons

The Seoul’s 10 Soul which is a Seoul City fashion project was launched during the Asia Fashion Exchange in Singapore last May 13 to May 22 at the Marina Sands Bay.

The Asia Fashion Exchange is made up of Audi Fashion Festival featuring famous brands like Ungaro and Missoni.  A trade show, fashion design competition and Asian Fashion Summit was also featured during the said event.  There were more than 30 fashion experts who joined the Asia Fashion Exchange.

Korean brands that were featured were: ALANI, Beyond Closet, Doii Paris, Jardin de Chouette, KAAL E.SKUTAE, Steve J & Yoni P, Suecomma Bonnie and The Studion K.

ALANI (Kim Jae Hwan)

It is a brand that focuses on men’s high fashion outfit.  The menswear line features modern look for men in their 40s. The brand celebrates masculinity with its philosophy on minimalism.

Beyond Closet (Ko Tae Yong)

It is a brand that features classic style and classic design.

Doii Paris (Doii Lee)

This brand features lovely prints and bold patterns.  It is known for making use of embellishments and fancy fabrics.

Jardin de Choutte’s (Kim Jae Hwan)

The brand features designs that have contemporary classic and feminine street style.

KAAL E.SUKTAE (Lee Suk Tae)

This brand focuses on modern contemporary with a touch of avant garde.  It features good tailoring and structure.

Steve J& Yoni P

This brand has a wide collection of colorful and humorous outfits.  They focus on contemporary and high-end casual pieces.

Suecomma Bonnie (Leeo Bo Hyun)

This brand features varied styles, loud colors, wild prints and more.  They offer masterpieces to all its loyal followers.

Studio K (Hong Hye Jin)

Hong Hye Jin features an urban design which reflects avant garde and modern design. Luscious fabrics, great tailoring and attention to detail are the elements that makes Studio K popular among fashionistas.
