Korean Fashion Icon: SS501’s Jungmin

Park Jungmin of SS501 is gaining more fans with his new look.  After launching his latest album “Not Alone” he will be busy shooting for his new drama in Taiwan. Fans were surprised when we sported different outfits from MARC by MARC JACOBS Spring/Summer Collections.  Busier than a bee, Jungmin is also doing a photoshoot for his upcoming drama.

Hundreds of his fans braved through the rain just to see Park Jungmin while he visited the studio.  He had to be secured by some staff because of the gravity of his fans.  People were impressed with Park Jungmin’s attitude.  He was very polite to everyone especially to the crew.  His fans were also happy since he warmly accepted their greetings.

During an interview Park Jungmin revealed that his fashion style evolved since his debut with the KPop group.  He was more comfortable wearing casual outfit but now he’s trying to go out of his comfort zone.  The concept of his photoshoot for MARC by MARC JACOBS was inspired by the retro chic boy look.  He shared, “That time I am really put a lot of emphasis on my image, during work will be wearing different kind of costumes, outfits but privately I like to wear casually.” He expressed that he only took 2 minutes to prepare before going out, he continued with a laugh, “But still will choose nice sporty outfits to wear!”

Park Jungmin is a true MARC JACOBS fanatic.  One time he went to Hong Kong and went shopping for discounted items but ended up spending more than he budgeted.  He bought some stuff that weren’t on sale just for the thrill of it.  He also loves to shop unlike other guys.  He admitted on buying impulsively.  He tends to buy expensive stuff that aren’t too useful for him.
