Korea celebrated New Year’s Eve with a music show featuring top artists. Â MBC gathered all the popular artists to perform for the show. The emcees for the show included: Eunjung, Lee Jang Woo, Ga-In, Jo Kwon, Victoria, Nichkhun, Kang Sora and Leeteuk.
The performances of the artists was divided into four parts. They were divided into two teams: blue and white. Viewers of the show cast votes for their favorite team. Â The blue team garnered the most votes which made them the winner.
The artists included in the blue team: 4Minute, U-KISS, CNBLUE, f(x), B1A4, Teen Top, Girl’s Day, INFINITE, KARA, Baek Ji Young, Brown Eyed Girls, After School, Park Hyun Bin, G.NA, B2ST, 2PM and Wonder Girls.
The members of the red team: SISTAR, A Pink, Dal Shabet, MBLAQ, Girls’ Generation, SECRET, F.T. Island, Davichi, miss A, T-ara, Park Sang Chul, TVXQ, Super Junior and IU.
The lovely ladies from SISTAR and Brown Eyed Girls showed off their sexy curves wearing mini LBDs. G.NA also showed off her long legs wearing a cream mini dress. The girls from After School wore leather top and paired it with shorts. Dal Shabet and Girl’s Day wore high school uniform inspired outfits. A Pink and Secret wore an all white ensemble. 4Minute wore black tops and skinny leggings. The members of f(x) wore chic outfits while the girls from T-Ara wore an all white suit outfit.
Most of the men wore dark suits which include: MBLAQ, BEAST, Super Junior and K.Will. SHINee wore a black and white outfit while other performers wore white suits.
The 2011 MBCÂ Gayo Daejaejun showcased the talents of some of the popular artists in Korea. Fans also participated in the said event. The show was definitely a great success.
